The Southern Hemisphere Wrestling Academy is an ongoing course operating in Morley, taking applicants and trainees at any time of the year. 

With the Academy operating, now it means that a career in professional wrestling is a very achievable goal for Perth-based trainees to succeed and learn everything needed to forge a career in the industry.

The head trainer, Matthew Arts, has been trained by Lance Storm in Canada (www.stormwrestling.com) and for a period approaching 5 years, has wrestled all around Australia taking on the country's best wrestlers and even wrestled some well-known international names in the SHWA ring - such as Sonjay Dutt and "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters.  The course itself is a friendly and fun atmosphere that puts emphasis on discipline and attitude and everybody learns together - nobody gets left behind.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

- Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.  Applicants younger than 18 MUST have parental consent.
- A doctor's approval for strenuous muscular and cardiovascular activity, as the Academy is physically challenging and demanding in fitness levels
- Prior notice of ANY pre-existing medical conditions (asthma, epilepsy, heart/cardiovascular conditions, etc)
- A good attitude and a willingness to challenge yourself!
